Wit by Margaret Edson - a charity production to raise awareness and funds for cancer treatment.
The show opens in early June (6 performances) and runs over two consecutive weekends
The production house is looking for male and female actors who have time for 4-5 days a week of daytime rehearsals starting 19 April (approximate number of rehearsals - 35)
Below are the roles they're casting. Please come prepared with a suitable audition piece of your own, and "sides" from the Wit script will be provided at the audition.
Main Characters/Cast:
Harvey Kelekian M.D./Mr Bearing - Male, late 30s/early 40s
Jason Posner, MD - Male, late 20s/early 30s
Susie Monahan, R.N., B.S.N. - Female, mid-to-late-20s
E.M. Ashford - Female, late 60s (or someone who can play an older woman)
Support Cast:
Lab Technicians/Students/Residents -
2 Male, 2 Female - early 20s
Any race, any physical ability
