Annecy International Animated Film Festival 13th - 18th June

The 2016 edition of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival will be held from Monday 13th to Saturday 18th June. The festival was created in 1960 as a platform to support animation filmmakers.  The festival is also the place of reference for animation in the world with the Mifa, the professional appointment for the industry, the Meetings and the Mifa Pitches.

As part of the new partnership with the Cannes Film Market, this year the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Market have been included in the Goes to Cannes showcase sessions to back a selection of animated feature films.

This is yet another way for Annecy to support the industry, by giving a selection of films in production (chosen after the 2015 Mifa sessions) the opportunity to be pitched again in a new setting.
