Kalasha International Film & TV Awards call for entries.
The event is a week long A week celebration featuring films from the East-African region, the continent and worldwide. Screenings will be organized in various theaters and venues. A full list will be made available soon.
This year's edition is set for 26-30 October 2015.
What to expect
Discovery Conferences - The conferences offer international participants the opportunity to discover more about East African countries and better understand the impact of their economical, social, cultural and political environment on the development of their national Film & TV industries.
Workshops - A series of workshops where international & regional professionals can come and share their experience with professionals, focusing on topics that are of particular interest in the region
Policy Makers Roundtable - The round tables offer top policy and decision makers from the East African countries the opportunity to discuss regional issues, share their experience and ideas and create synergies.
Showcase - An opportunity for companies to showcase their products, services & expertise, company presentations, product presentations, showreel presentations, private negotiations, etc.
Pitching Sessions - A dedicated room where independent East African filmmakers can pitch to potential investors.
